yesterday,went to shop for grad nite clothes with cin,tr,wanlin and dx.met in lot 1 at 11.lunched then went to causeway point to shop first.walk a few rounds before going into one shop cos at first a bit embarrassed to go in? dunno how to say it la. went in to hangten then try on a jacket. tr tried the brown one while i tried the gray one. abit like jacket. actually wanted to like put in my...how to say...shopping list ? means i kan zhong it la but then tr wanted to buy it so strike off.went to northpoint as causeway point de hangten dun hav the size S for him to try it on.reached northpoint, have S but tr take DAMN LONG to decide.in my opinion, S looks nicer on him but M might be more sustainable in the long run(man,still cannot forget geog, thought of tourism-.-).so while he was deciding with a whole lot of ppl : wl,cin and the 5 helpers at the shop, me and dx went to try his "zac efron" impression.hav a few retakes though

THIS IS A DECENT ONE! if he hadnt stop so weirdly lols i wud hav been quite nice.
I WANTED TO TRY TOO but wearin sport shoes so cannot. next tiiem then try xD k after doing those impressions and tr got his M size jacket/coat, went to orchard then to wisma.
on the way to wisma saw a tv host doing some sort of show i think, dunno who is he but the rest seems to know lols, anyway qutie handsome and we walked past the camera!! maybe will see us on some show lols.walked past twice somemore lols!
went into many shops but all is either not suitable or too ex. learnt one thing, owaes hav at least $100 with u if u wan to shop for clothes in orchard.went to ist-sumthing in wisma, inside went to springfield. shirts there more affordable and quite nice too.the gals picked some for me and dx. tried on a black long sleeved shirt plus a red tie.. not bad.. and it costs $55 quite cheap le in my opinion, kan zhong it but then dx wanted it so..strike off again.walk around wisma again but cannot find anything i like so decided to go far east.
abt 1 min we left wisma, three(not being racist) indian man went up to us and started:
[indian]this will only take 20secs, we are from takashimaya blah blah and we are here to help to save the exconvicts. uknow how hard isit for these exconvicts to find jobs rite? ritenow we wan to help them and ucan too. by buying this disney book, each one u buy, another convict get a job.there are five of u, each giv $2 enugh to buy 1.
wanlin and cin keep shaking their heads lols then escape.once they escape, the indian men cornered the boys which is us. wth!. it's like we are surrounded.then they continue.
[indian] come on gentlemen, prove to the girls that u are gentlemen.
then they kip repeating and repeating, wanted to get out they oso blocked our way, so to get away from them, i bought 1, we all had to pay $2 each -.-, sry girls.
get away le then the others started to say tt we are conned. then i thought of it for a while, the more i think abt it, the more i think tt we are conned.
FIRSTLY, why are they all indians?if it is really sort of save the exconvicts programme, they shld be other races too rite?
SECONDLY, since when disney hav anything to do with exconvicts? i thought is yellow ribbon?
THIRDLY, how can buying a book means a convict will get a job?means the boss of a company is checkingto see if the books are sold? doesnt make sense.
i think we are really conned. it's sad to know that there are singaporeans who con for a living, furthermore they are all able-bodied men,and it's also sad to know that i can be so stupid to let them con meT.T. $2 leh... actually i paid $4 extra, wanlin and dx haven pay me back yet.
so went to far east and the shops there are pretty much like bugis. dunno why but i dun like this kind of shops. it's like how to say...unsafe to buy cos no proper brand de? maybe a bit like pasar malam? but it's jus my personal feelings la. so not long later went out to Heeren instead.
Heeren, quite like wisma so its to my liking.went to a few shops with one selling those kind of skulls jackets lol and some cost $200T.T for one blazer.
went to the last shop we visited for the day to look for my clothes. once we got in and then got one guy came to help me with my clothes. he seemed very eager to help me dress up , judging from the fact that he immediately took a white long sleeved shirt and asked me to go change. AND WHILE I WAS CHANGING HALF WAY, HE CAME IN WITH A GRAY(dunno wad is the real name for it) VEST and ask me to put it on with the whtie sleeved shirt so its like double layered la.
i was buttoning halfway(man's clothes hav a lot of buttons==) then he came in. he saw me so close then he help me to button my shirt?!?! and help me put on the gray vest oso. came out then asked for my clique's opinion. then the guy was like explaining"cos he is slim, i pick this for him" and while he is explaining kip touching and touching my chest.WTH, i was like frozen and dun dare to move oso. then wl say a bit informal. he went on explaining"cos he wearing jeans mah, if wear black pants formal le" after speaking ,he went to take one pair and like put it over my jeans. and his hand was like so close to mine****. WTH!! and while he was checking the label for the price, he was like pulling open the shirt to see la.
ok enugh of his- abit gay-ness.
the shirt and the vest total cost abt $98 and that was after student discount lols.a bit too ex in our opinion but i find it hard to tell him tt im not buying after all his advice. in the end, i told him i will come with my mum another day.
THEN, without looking at me, jus grabbed it from my hands and say "mei guan xi(it's ok)" and is eyes was like those kind of attitude de WALAO. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS! don't wan buy cannot isit? im not obliged to buy it ok!still say wad try on no nid money. oh yah, speaking of tt, while he was talking abt the pants, he asked me to go and change into it but i din wan cos my jeans were tight and hard to take off and wear it back again. LUCKY I DID NOT CHANGE! who knows what might hav happen if he walk in on me again.
so after the traumatising experience, went to take the bus 190 as all of us were tired from the 6-7hrs of walking. while looking for the bustop, got lost in taka, ended up having to walk one big round to the bus stop. more walking-.-
waited for the bus is very frustrating too. one bus came, too full, wait for next one. next one came, better but nid to stand, next one might be emptier so waited for next one. the next one came, FULL AGAIN! again hav to wait. then after like dunno how many 190s two came at same time. then we finally got on even though we hav to stand cos we were all desperate to get home.
reached home at abt 8pm.legs super tired. but i think we all will hav nicer and toner calf muscles so this was not a wasted trip after all.
LASTLY, SHOPPING IS SUPER TIRING BUT ITS'S FUN TO SHOP WITH FRIENDS!!!
